Sandi Spicer-Moore is a certified instructor in Dharma Yoga at the 200-hour level. For many years, she only flirted with yoga while her main athletic pursuits involved cycling, mountain biking, gym classes, kayaking, running, triathlons and motherhood. After treatment for chronic back pain, she found sustained relief in a regular yoga practice. Sandi is now grateful for the pain that beckoned her to spend more hours on the mat. Guided by many insightful teachers, her regular yoga and meditation practice has given her more tools for healthy, easeful living. Sandi continues to enjoy a hearty cardiovascular workout and feels that yoga adds another dimension of strength, calm, flexibility and focus. Sandi also holds a Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas and works as a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator in central Austin.
