Lindsey first found pilates in 1997 when it was introduced as a fundamental part of the repertoire for students of the school of Nashville Ballet. After her injury in 2000, which ended her dance career, she moved to Austin to attend college at the University of Texas. A couple of years later, she found that her body had become very tight. Looking for an effective way to finally heal her body from the old injury, and the aftermath thereof, she found herself back into pilates. Not only was the pure joy of movement back in her life, but for the first time in years, her body was feeling great again! She was amazed at the results, and it was then she decided her true path was to help others heal themselves and feel great in their bodies. She went on to become a certified pilates instructor, training under Wendy Leblanc-Arbuckle in her Core Connections certification program. Two years later she got her second certification and also became PMA Certified.
"Pilates teaches you how to be smarter in your movement, and brings a whole new level of awareness to how you are being in your body." Whatever your goals may be, Lindsey is here to help you meet them. Whether it is strength training you are looking for, pilates based rehab for old, new or existing injuries, or just a new way to experience the pure joy of effective movement, she is here to support and coach you along the way.
